How to Order the A-B-C Christ-Centered Phonics Package

Whether you choose to begin teaching your child at age 4 (K4) or 5 (K5), at Beginning 1st grade (B1st - never schooled before)—or later—our Christ-Centered Phonics materials can provide the best spiritual, moral, and academic foundation possible. Listed below are Levels A, B, and C Phonics Packages that contain recommendations for various ages and skill levels. For detailed descriptions, or to order items separately, see “Complete Phonics Program” and “Early Readers” in our online catalog. If you are not familiar with the correct pronunciation of phonics sounds, we suggest ordering the Phonics CD (item 300) under “Complete Phonics Program.”  For a biblical view of early childhood education, plus how to be a godly wife and mother, we also recommend reading Never Too Early (item 100) under “Family Resources.”

Note: Some of the Christ-Centered Phonics materials overlap in their use at each level, which makes our program highly affordable. Hence, highlighted items in the packages won’t need repurchasing at the next level. When ordering, simply let us know what you already have so that duplications are removed from the packages.

Aa-Zz and the Building Blocks of Reading---LEVEL A PHONICS

Part 002 – Level A:1 Phonics Package (click here)
Recommended for 4’s (K4) or very young 5’s

Building a Strong Reading Foundation---LEVEL B PHONICS

Note: It is not necessary to have completed any portion of Level A Phonics for a student to be successful with Level B.  Although Level B students go through two of the same lesson plans as Level A, their pace is faster and the B workbooks are more challenging. We must never assume that because a child has completed a lesson plan book that he or she has mastered it. However, it is also true that you as a teacher have discretion in choosing which exercises are needed to strengthen any remaining weaknesses and which content requires only occasional review.

Recommended for Advanced 1st/regular 2nd grade (A1st/2nd)---or older students needing a stronger foundation in phonics, reading, spelling, and beginning grammar (aid to reading comprehension).

Note: If your child has completed through Level B:3, and is reading well, you may skip Level C:1 and Phonics Lessons 32-66. In that case, order Part 004C below. Review Phonics Lessons 67-93 by focusing on skills that still need strengthening plus working on comprehension of the C:2 workbook. Then teach Phonics Lessons 94-118 plus Phonics Workbook C:3. Strive for mastery at all three levels of Level C Phonics.
